Can this be Zenit mirror stop?

The dark thing on the upper right corner.
But how on earth it shows on the picture. Confused

Lens is Polaris Zoom 90-190, Industar on the same series show nothing there.

Anyone? No idea what could it be and why?

I've got a Zenit E, EM and a B in front of me and they all have that screw as the mirror stop, and on all three cameras the stop is very close, even touching, the inside of the camera - to the right looking in through the front as in your picture.
It does look as though there is a gap on yours.

Crap, now my Zenit is stuck open, I put it on B and fired. Mad

Maybe I should buy a western camera ..

edit: ok, working again
edit edit: this is Zenit ET, but don't know if there is any difference?
