Has anyone tried the Fotodiox Split Image Focusing Prism Screen? Any good?

They are hard to come by in the UK but still a lot less expensive than the Katz Eyes ones.

I have a KatzEye, and hardly ever use the split center, there are so few places where it really works well, and I often have a hard time judging if the line is straight or not. If I were doing it again, I'd look for a full microprism center. I wonder if anyone makes one. . .

+1 nothing beat canon EE-s screen for fast focus, for slow focus better to use liveview

Oh, how disappointing. I thought it would bring some much needed consistency to my focusing!

Buy one of those cheap chinese LCD loupe.
It helps a lot when focusing via LV and is super for videos too.
