This this in MINT. Well, except for some peeling of the leatherette. Besides that, it pretty much looks unused. The bottom plate doesn't have a single mark on it. I hope it functions the same way it looks (perfect).

This thing is a down-right weapon, in terms of weight. I'm looking for straps to support this thing but it has unusual strap lugs. I don't want the original Kiev strap either. Who makes a strap for lugs that stick out of the front of the body? Seems to be common on older medium format bodies.

Chris

Oh and hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster.

Welcome, Chris, can we see a pic of the camera/lugs? Maybe a Hasselblad strap will fit.

Well, I did more research and found that Op-Tech sells a strap that could have the correct clips. It's their Super Pro Strap with the "A" connectors.

Unfortunately I don't like their "No-Slip Grip" nubs on the strap. I like to wear my straps sling style and swing the camera up to my eye. The grippy stuff makes it an unpleasant experience. Normally I flip the strap over but the design of the Op-Tech looks to prevent that.

This will probably do the job, also comes in a tan color from the same seller:

The 'A' connector is the Hasselblad.

I've got the same kind of connectors on my Kiev88.
It's definately the OpTech type "A"and I can also recommend their Super Pro Strap for heavy cameras like the 6x6 Kievs.

Well I ended buying yet another Kiev 60. This one was claimed to be new and never used by the original owner. Once I got it.. he was NOT lying. Everything was original and it came with all the accessories. The Russian manual was stamped inside with the same date (1996) that the serial number matches. Pretty sweet.

The Optech strap works well. I found that it is lacking in length if you like to use it as a sling, but it's excellent for the waist level finder and the camera hanging from your neck.

I got one too also was never used, but wasn't stored well. Works properly , but it has some little cosmetic issue. What is your impression after a several weeks ?

I've only put a few rolls through it and other than a framing issue, it's great. I didn't get it CLAed, either.

My friend just bought a Rollei with the 75 3.5 Tessar and I'm curious to see how the Kiev 60 stacks up.
