Here are some photos taken with the Canon EF 2.8/100mm macro usm.
It is not the newest one. It has no image stab.

It is a marvelous lens !

This is really a very good lens and quite affordable. Even more now that there is her little brother with IS.

Hi Rolf ! Very Happy
Today is grey and rainy.
Sometimes some sun. These are the moments to catch good lights !
Unfortunately, I have job to do... Wink

Have a very nice week-end too.

I forgot how sharp that lens was... Wish I'd never sold mine.

Great captures, the lens is only part of the equation. The camera/lens only captures what you tell it to. The photographer must know what to capture in the first place.

Thank you very much Newstuff. Smile

The couple 5D MkII + EF 2.8/100 macro usm is very good.
The large viewfinder helps a lot for focusing and composing.

I like the cats..... but for me the crop of the little green bug is amazing! I hope the rain clears!...but I find this to be true as well...

Thank you.

That's true that light is very often especially good after the rain. Smile

You won't regret it.
When shooting Macro, don't be too much tempted by f2.8 and try f8 or f11 to gain dof. Wink
Don't hesitate to increase Iso to keep the speed ratio above 1/100s.

Another thing, try it for portrait, but there, keep it under f4, or your model will hate you for showing everybody her/his skin defaults. Laughing

I like seeing old topics come back to front. Wink
