I don´t understand why so much users are not satisfied with this lens. A perfect super zoom for travel with very good IQ as your sample shows.

Who is not satisfied with this lens? I've also only seen overall good reputations (with a few stupid exceptions of course like "my Leica Summicron is sharper" or "it's to big and heavy for my pocket" and stuff like that )
Check reputations on Amazon, Photozone and co. They are practically all very positive. The only real drawback are some CAs on the very long end and at the very short end but anyway this lens is optically decent (and a superzoom!) _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester
My camera: Sony A7+Zeiss Sonnar 55/1.8
Current favourite lenses (I have many more):
A few macro-Tominons, Samyang 12/2.8, Noritsu 50.7/9.5, Rodagon 105/5.6 on bellows, Samyang 135/2, Nikon ED 180/2.8, Leitz Elmar-R 250/4, Celestron C8 2000mm F10
Most wanted: Samyang 24/1.4, Samyang 35/1.4, Nikon 200/2 ED

The general way of thinking is that all big zooming ratio lenses can't be good and are just a matter of concessions.
Maybe Rolf means that. _________________ Olivier - Moderator

I tend to agree, but this lens is much better than most! _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |
