It's a Wundertüte.

Endless variations of these by Paragon and other makers etc and no late 70's - 80's camera bag was complete without one.

As was mine in the shape of a Super Paragon 8/500.

I once had that Beroflex (but gave it to ma dad so that he has a really long lens for his S2).
It's surprisingly good!! In Germany it's called "Wundertüte". Wink

I think it was made by Cosina.
After a while they updated the optical design and the lens got a smaller filter screw. The updated design is still in production, but now it's made by Samyang in South Korea while the Beroflex lenses were made in Japan as far as I know.
I heard several times that the original first version of Beroflex 500/8 is the best.

I also had one but mine had a hazed rear element so I never used and sold it.
