Does the chair has a hole in the middle Shocked Very Happy ....of is it an piece of glass of transparent plastic ?

Have you tried this in black and white? Might work nicely.

(Meanwhile this post makes Joy Division's song Shadowplay start playing in my head every time I look into the forum.)

Thank you Pascal. This chair has indeed a hole in the middle due to different seat pads which are available.
