Yes, I think better or equal at least than many 'big names' like Canon QL17 III or Yashica T4 etc.

It's almost like I can just look at that lens and see the quality. Shocked

I like the little Flash symbol!

I would love to see some pix!

I got the same camera a while ago for a similar price, never used it yet. I also have a Mamiya 135 AF which is almost identical, never used it either.

They are so cheap, you can grab a few. Looking forward to your samples. Smile

Impressive results indeed - in general, I find that the first generation of anything has tended to be excellent in more traditional respects: better made and built, etc. In successive generations the marketplace ensures some of this quality is engineered out in the interest of lower cost.

The C35 AF was the very first AF P&S

Nice, Jussi, it takes 20 seconds or more for the flash to heat up. Laughing

I read where it is a passive autofocus system, much related to the
rangefinder.

I just got one of these, for the princely sum of $3.99 plus shipping.

One question, the red light in the viewfinder won't go off. Does this mean the meter is screwed?

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I put in fresh alkalines and the light is still on. Oh well, I'll shoot the test roll and see. Thanks!

Turns out the camera meters and focuses fine, even though that light stays on and drains the battery. At any rate, once the battery was drained, I transferred the film into my KX...
