Some flickr faves using the Yashimar 3.5/80 on Yashica-A:

Just curious if anyone has a Yashica TLR with this lens.

I have Yashikor 80/3.5 on Yashicaflex-C taking lens and Tri-Lausar viewing. Haven't really a decent sample because don't have a MF scanner. But projected on the wall the slides are nice.

The Yashikor lens was supposed to be an improvement on the Yashimar, but I suspect there's little difference, both being rebadged Tri-Lausars from Tomioka.

edit:
here is one, there is something similar in the swirly bokeh?

not the best digitized sample ..

Kansalliskala, thanks for the info and sample, seems to be quite similar.

I like the look to these images. I don't have a Yashimar lens. It does look quite similar to the Yashicor triplet in rendering.

The film used in the first two was Agfa Optima 100, thinking that's probably a slide film.

this is from the Yashikor, very similar in performance
