Imagine you have found a huge'n'old lens.

Like a Rodenstock APO-Ronar - a 800mm f1:9 32 inch black beauty.

Imagine you would build some adapter to mount this lens on some SLR camera.

Also, quite impressive! Such a great job.
But the results are "just" good, nothing that you couldn't achieve with much less work. Wink
I guess, it's not the result that he is aiming at, it is rather the "idea", right?
