Hello from new member.
I have several old Pentax lenses and have been using them with Olympus e-300 without problems. I did get Olympus e-pl1 very cheaply last week and may be purchasing a Pentax K-5 in the autum.
I think that it would make sense to to purchase Sayang 8&14 mm lenses with Pentax K-mount so I could use them with all the bodies, am I correct? |

Yes it would make sense!
There are two different 8mm lenses bye Samyang bye the way.
As far as I know the larger 8mm F3.5 version for Pentax K/Sony A/Canon EOS/NEX/Nikon... mount is better.
The smaller version is only avaialble for MFT and announced for E-Mount (NEX)
But you will need very good and precise adapters. The 8mm needs only less than 1mm fosusing way to focus from infinity to 30cm! I have one in Sony Alpha mount - with my el cheapo adapter infinity is at around 0,6m on NEX and also a very little tilt was also visible while having no trouble with other "normal" lenses. _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester
My camera: Sony A7+Zeiss Sonnar 55/1.8
Current favourite lenses (I have many more):
A few macro-Tominons, Samyang 12/2.8, Noritsu 50.7/9.5, Rodagon 105/5.6 on bellows, Samyang 135/2, Nikon ED 180/2.8, Leitz Elmar-R 250/4, Celestron C8 2000mm F10
Most wanted: Samyang 24/1.4, Samyang 35/1.4, Nikon 200/2 ED

The lenses are here in Finland are 300 € & 250 €. Something like 50 € for adapter would be ok. I have to check availlability of adapters. Any way I will need the 8 mm one in summer but I need the 14 mm one sooner.
Too bad Samyang doesn't make a 20 mm lens. |

I hope this wasn't discussed yet... Does anyone know how does Samyang 8mm perform compared to Peleng 8mm? The price range is similar and it's made in korea vs. made in ukraine. |

I think that Samyang 8 mm reviews are quite positive. I think that I will get more bang for buck with the Samyang (259 € from cyberphoto.fi) than Peleng (314 USD, 240 € plus shipping and vat at 23% [312 €], ebay).
Here is a comparision (from a Peleng store):

and a review for Samyang:

Both lenses are good. The Samyang is maybe a tack better in flaring and sharpness, but not much.
Most important things is that the Samyang has another kind of distortion. I tested both - I prefer the Samyang.
But ff you wan't to de-distort your images in post processing the Peleng might the better choice as it has a more "harmonic" distortion over the whole image, easier to dedistort, while the Samyang is not as harmonic but not as fishy as the Peleng under many conditions.
I love my Samyang it's my most fav lens
Some examples:

(the last 4 are slightly missfocused - which does not mattter much with this lens. Photos were made with both, Sony NEX and Sony Alpha (different mounts, same lens, on NEX with an adapter)) _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester
