Pentacon f/1.8 is great even wide open, focus vey closely (almost macro), and have great flare control, but the color is unacurated (most pos production), and the contrast is poor.

The Yashinon f/1.7 have serious flare problens, medium contrast, medium color.
Works decently only before f/2.8.

The Yashinon f/1.4 have flare problens, medium contrast, but color is great.
Works decently only before f/2.0

Takumar is my choice.
Stoped dow at f/2.0 and above, is sharper than Canon, color faithful, and high contrasted!

Searching for Takumar SMC!
