Hello everybody.
I have bought one of the Chinese adapters for my Olympus E-510,
where you have to use a hexagon key to lock the lens on the adapter.
Unfortunately it seems that if you try to screw the lock hard, the lens moves
a bit and you have problems focusing at infinity. The best solution I have found is to screw it until you feel resistance, but unfortunately the lens is not secure on the body.
Anyone else has the same problems? _________________ Minolta x500, x700 and Olympus E-510 and many manual lenses

But from what I know it can't reach infinity! _________________ Minolta x500, x700 and Olympus E-510 and many manual lenses

Well, he is the seller I got the adapter. Do you secure the lens very tight on the adapter? _________________ Minolta x500, x700 and Olympus E-510 and many manual lenses

I have three different MD to 4/3 adapters. All made in China. I found them well made and the hexa screw gives some extra securety. I never turn it very hard and i think it is a solid solution. I have no problems with infinity. The only adapters which give me a lot of trouble with infinity are m42 adapters.
I also use a VGR adapter on a praktica B mount, but i am allways afraid it will fall of. The af confirmation works great. |

I think impossible to fall off with eight screws, perhaps mine is later version than yours. _________________ -------------------------------
