Lens already sold without I could try it ,before I send out a lens I always try it with camera to avoid any problem.
I did use tripod aperture settings was mixed , but mostly at F8 SONY-NEX at 135mm and 200mm. Pretty boring , but quality is quiet shocking in crappy light and hey this is an old zoom lens!

Attila, YOU SOLD THIS lens?

I have heard only great comments on this lens However, I've never tried one but this is really really good lens!

I can see nice and clear images.

I do have the AF version in Nikon mount. It may be slightly different optical formula but anyhow I do like this one. Best thing - it is quiete small for a fast lens like this.

Looks pretty good indeed, but the real question is: how does it perform at f/2.8? I wouldn't carry a f/2.8 zoom with me without being able to use it with good results.

i've used it mostly wide open on my dSLR and it gives good results

not really difficult. it's not too heavy ( i should know, i've carried my maginon 100-500mm zoom for a few hours , now that's a difficult and heavy lens). i've managed to shoot RC model car races with it

I've seen pictures of ATX PRO SV and not very sharp. Do you know that ?
Best regards.

I was wondering if the optical formulas are different, ATX & ATX PRO SV.
Best Regards.

Not bad Attila, but I was expected more from this lens. Looks like subjectively, Tamron's 80-200/2.8 performs much better.

Wow, very nice results on that, Attila. I'm not familiar with that lens, but might keep my eye out for one.
