Hi Guys,
Those are some pics from a business trip i have in Budapest 1 year ago.
They are a lot so i'm giving the links to albums in Picasa.

All are taken with Nex-3 and Contax G 2.8/28, 2/35, 2.8/90 - a nice combo for travel. Most of the time i got the 28 Biogon on the camera and the Sonnar in the pocket for some longer shots. It was bloody cold and almost no sun at that time of the year Smile

pretty cool looking shots. they seem to hace great clarity. how do you find focusing these lenses via adapter--that seems like it could be a pain in the neck?

also curious about how you think the IQ of these lenses stack up against others you use on nex?

Thanks guys,

Tony: those are the best lenses i have laid my hands on Smile if you survive the initial resistance of focusing.
If you want to make fast snapshots those are not for you - they take time.
You need to spend 5-10 sec at least on nailing the focus Smile

Haha Laughing
Actually those are resized to only 1600 - you need to see the level of details in a full size file.
I haven't kept those particular pictures in full size unfortunately.

Sorry for my stupid question but what's the problem with the G lense's focusing Embarassed ???

They are designed as AF lenses and only have an aperture ring and no focus ring.
The focus ring is integrated in the adapter - otherwise no issues.

Contax G lens are AF lens. There is no way to manually turn the lens to focus it.
