Does anyone have a Voightlander Brilliant that is completely rubbish?

I have the one that belonged to my grand father, but the film advance knob is missing, along with the parts that locate in the spool. Basically there is just a threaded hole where it should be.

Because this one has such a clean lens and shutter, I'd like to get it working again. I even have the original case and instructions.

Mine has the f7.7 Anastigmat Voigtar lens if it helps identify it.

Thanks in advance Cool

Small world, I just bought one this week. Unfortunately for you it's in great shape and I'm gonna use it Smile

The reason I mention this is that while searching the site for anything about the cam I saw an old thread from this spring where a gentleman used a doner Brillant to fix up another one, he might have some other parts...

This gentleman doesn't post much but it wouldn't hurt to drop a PM.

There's not much to the winding knob, it's just a knurled knob with a prong to catch the film spool. If it would help I could take some close-ups of that part of my camera, you could probably rig something up.

Many thanks fuzzywuzzy Cool

...however, I just got lucky with a last-minute bid on fleabay and picked-up an equally rough one for a fiver. That'll also give me a spare lens to rip out and have a play with on a home-brew camera I'm building for paper negs Cool
