Does the NEX-5N come with a flash or do you have to buy seperately? And can you get TTL flash when using MF lens with lens adapter?

it comes with a flash and there is another, more powerful Sony flash that can be bought extra, see: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/791302-REG/Sony_HVL_F20S_HVL_F20S_External_Flash_for.html
I believe that both work TTL with manual lenses attached via adapter.

the flash that comes in bundle can be used to trigger other external flashes but they need to have a switch to ignore the preflash of the onboard flash that cannot be turned off, e.g. the "S2" setting on the popular Yonguos.
there are also 2 hot shoe adapters available on ebay to use other flashes, see: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat.asp?forum=1042&thread=41973419&page=2

Thanks kuuan. How does the Yonguos flash work? Does it have the sensor on the front do determine correct flash output(auto aperture)or is it manual only?

I am not sure, I don't have any one yet myself but have been thinking to get one since long time, they would be great for my Pentax when using manual lenses too.
As far as I know they will only work manually but they can be adjusted very easily to 7 or 8 levels, depending on model and are favorites for off camera triggered flashes.

hope these links help, if you google there are many results:
