This lens is a third-rate 1959 lens. Worth about $50.

Rare mount, and absolutely collectible condition - while Pentamatics and their lenses have no fixed high value (and sell for a fiver as often as for 500), they are rare enough that some desperate collector might bite. There are many collectors for whom completeness is a target in itself, and for them, owning a Pentamatic with only two of the three original lenses would be almost physically painful. _________________ Sevo |

How many different lenses were made by Yashica in that Pentamatic bayonet mount? Just three? |

The manual listed three (35, 55, 100). There also seems to have been a 135, presumably later as it was not in the manual. The Pentamatic was abandoned for its M42 sibling, the Penta J, after less than three years, so the lens family does not seem to have grown any more... _________________ Sevo |

Seems to me FluffPuppy you had it once, sold it for peanuts and now you're nervous that you made big mistake ? _________________ ---------------------------------

Not the point, of course, and what other lenses are you comparing it to? |
