To me, Planar 85f1.4 should be the best portrait (Anniversary is there.... ) ever versus awesome AF lens like L Glass. Please allow me to continue flood Portrait lens with my Planar here... _________________ 5D Classic | 17-40L | 50L | Zeiss T* 1.4/85

Thanks guys, I love this lens each day I am using this. Btw, I am really concern with this, is it really looks pretty close to Nikkor 85f1.4D?
The sharpness, 3D-ish IQ and most important thing of the vibrant color, none of the modern lens is on-par with this lens. The modern G or L lens goes on more practical output..... _________________ 5D Classic | 17-40L | 50L | Zeiss T* 1.4/85

As for me Nikkor 85mm 1.4D is one of the greatest portrait lens I've ever seen. And in your picture bokeh and sharpen look similar to Nikkor's. What about 3D effects I think it depends on lighting not just lens. _________________ Pentax K10d, Samsung NX100

Yeah, I love girls... (don't you?) Trying to shoot twice a month......
Btw, I love Planar much more each day and the most important thing is that, Planar is a collectible item that really works on the field. Both pictures in my flickr, less interesting.... Shot with 50L, rendition is still not on par with Planar even 50L is almost the most characterized L prime.... _________________ 5D Classic | 17-40L | 50L | Zeiss T* 1.4/85
