Just got a Lydith, and immediately notices something "wrong" about it. Someone at MOG quality control must have been asleep Smile

I wonder if you can spot it, too

edit: hm, image is not showing, but works in preview? What am I doing wrong? forum.mflenses.com/userpix/20121/5186_IMG_0014_1.jpg

Is this common for the Lydith/Meyer Optik, or did i get a very special lens?

Thank you

I'm dyslexic with numbers, so that wouldn't bother me. I would certainly never notice until it was pointed out. Laughing

Dyslexia with numbers is called dyscaculia, that lens shouLd be known as the "M.O.G. Dyscalculia edition"

As I've got 3 Lydiths I thought I check mine........ They are all like the photo and it's not a quality problem, error or fault!

The numbers are there so you can read off the DOF distances when you are focussing. Because the Lydith is pre-set and has the aperture ring at the front, they had to also put the numbers at the back near the focussing ring!

Mine isn't like that... Numbered as you would expect... 22,16,11 etc...

EDIT

There you go, taken a couple of days ago.
