Does anyone want this Meyer Lydith 30mm f3.5 before I stick it on fleabay? It's m42 with preset aperture type.

Front glass is excellent and it is good all the way through to the rear. However, the rear element has marks on the outside surface. I don't believe it's fungus as that usually happens inside. It's probably over-enthusiastic cleaning at some point in its life, or maybe a fingerprint that has etched.

Image quality remains good, other than the lower contrast of this version of the lens.

10 GBP plus postage at cost. Payment by direct bank transfer or Paypal gift, please.

Yes, I sold MINT lens for 100 USD weeks ago. 25-30 GBP still bargain.

I would not be happy to sell so high with the marks on the rear element. I am too honest for that kind of thing. I shall never be rich Sad

I'll take it if no-one has snagged it yet. Low contrast I can deal with.

The (now ex) keeper and this lens remind me of the immortal "Lydith - I am an idiot" thread almost 3 years ago. I am reminded of it every time I use my Lydith.

Ah, memories!

Not bad! YEah, I know, a lot of PP, but it just screamed out for Selective Colour to highlight the DoF.

Flares out really badly and suffers CA when the light is approaching anything Head on.

As it'll get used Underground, I can't see it being a huge problem.

Took my camera into work, put the lens on, and went for a walk to give it a run out.
