Hi Paul,

I don't thnk there is a "compact" full frame dslr . . . looking in the photo stores in Glasgow, the Nikon and Canon ones seem enormous to me. But then, I'm the bloke who thinks his Pentax K100D is pretty big . . .

At the risk of seeming deliberately mischievous, I reckon the best - or even only - way for full frame digital photography in a "compact" camera is a Leica M9. I was going to say it's a pity it's so expensive, but then none of the other full-frames are exactly cheap, are they?

Canon EOS 5D MkII
Nikon D700
Sony Alpha 900

But I hesitate to use the vocab "compact" here. Wink

there are 18 cameras made with 24x36mm sensor - just choose which you want:

don´t forget to check "discontinued cameras"

And neither of the DSLR type are even close to being "compact". Wink

This is what many have wished for: a digital Olympus OM3 with fullframe sensor.

There is only one small camera with full frame sensor - Leica M9 Smile

Any other DSLR camera is much bigger, including Nikon / Kodak cameras 10+ ears old
