Today I managed to buy a Smc Pentax - M 2/28 at a resonable price.
Can anyone tell me something about this lens, it´s known to be the successor of the famous Pentax Distagon clone.
Does anyone have some experience with it or it`s brother The SMC Pentax A 2/28 ?
Can`t wait for the lens to arrive .

It's not the distagon, the K28/2 is. I have the pentax A version of this lens. Both M and A version share the same optical formula. Very good lens. Congrats.

I was searching for the K 28/2 for year and still can not find it.
So I am very curious about the M and A version compared to the legendary K.
kuuan, thanks for the link. The M is much sharper than the K.
But still curious about the character differences between the K vs M/A

For sure wide open this lens has some major errors, it also seems to suffer from field curvature. But on the other hand it`s sharp enogh and it`s handling is pure pleasure. So at all I really like it.
Even if it does not compare to the famous "Hollywood Distagon" or it`s brother Pentax K 2/28 I would call this lens "poor mans - poor mans Distagon"
