adapters: Contax RF-M39, Voigtländer Prominent-M39

Next on the house-clearing list are two adapters:

- Shogun Voigtländer Prominent-M39
- Kipon Contax RF-M39


I bought these adapters with the intention of hacking them into adapters for other non-standard mount lenses, but they turn out to expensive and hard to find. So I thought I better sell them to someone who actually has lenses these focussing adapters were intended for. They both appear to have come from the same maker, on the net I see Shogun and Kipon adapters that are identical.

Does the Contax adapter focus a 5cm CZJ f1.5 lens accurately at full aperture?

Or does it require a shim to be made to calibrate it?

Hi Riverseries,

I'm sorry, I can't give you any useful information about that. I don't have a 50/1.5 CZJ or any other lens that fits this adapter.
