Finally in november i found the heavymetal 300 i was looking for for quite some time. After cleaning, i adaptered it to my Pentax K20D, put it on my Manfrotto 681 monopod and towed it around Rotterdam Zoo for a cold foggy day. The lens felt frozen afterwards and so did my hands, but this has to be loving lenses as it was supposed to be
Some postprocessing had to be done to get the contrast back, it was a rather foggy day.

These are good. #3 looks like it's been oversharpened though and this is shown on the noise in the bokeh. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

It can be the light amount of sharpening i perform on nearly every image combined with adding contrast that was needed in this series because of the foggy conditions of that day.
Hopefully i can soon take the heavy-metal giant out for some fun under better conditions. This lens is really something special. _________________
