I'm trying to repair this camera, which I bought . Overall it's in pretty nice shape, but needs a good clean. The problem is the shutter won't fire. I tested it with a good battery and the meter does work. Smile So before I tear this one down can anyone give me any advice. Indicator is on S, but the film advance lever won't advance. Kinda sounds like the lever is jammed.
Any advice on taking it apart. I don't have a repair manual.

Butkus has a repair manual for the SRT101, that will be hardly different from the 100.

The battery has no influence on shutter and transport as it only is for the metering.
First risk for stopping the shutter is a stuck selftimer; check if that is not the problem.

Wish you succes!

Thank You. Smile That's exactly what I needed. I will start working on it tomorrow.
