The 2nd shot of this series is the best of the group. I really like the way the building is framed in the picture against the sky.

Not bad, but I think the Tokina 17mm is significantly sharper.

Nice images. That film seems unpredictable; the images are fairly high contrast here, but they look more crisp this time.

I have the Tamron 17mm and whilst not great on digital, I find it fine on film.

I think trouble what you see sometimes rather user error than film I agree about Tamron 17mm it's okay on my NEX-3, it was awful on 4/3 and I love to use it on film. I test all my Praktica body with this lens.

I have the Vivitar version of the Tokina in Canon FD, and I've noticed some edge softness with mine. I was particularly looking at the edges in the above photos, especially the car mirror in #2, and it appears the Tamron does a better job on the edges than my Vivitar/Tokina does.
