Just a quick question here.
Bought this lens recently (just for fun because I didn't have a 200mm yet)

And I thought it had a m42 screw mount, but upon screwing an adapter on it only goes on halfway? What's up with that? Which lead me to believe this probably isn't a m42 mount. What other mounts could it be? Looks exactly like it, except the thread is probably like 1mm wider/bigger.

T/T2 mount ? Description here.

It's a T2 mount lens, the thread is very close, close enough to get stuck if it's forced.

I bought the same lens a while back in a pawnshop for a few pounds, and I'm impressed with it. It's not the fastest, it's certainly not the lightest, 200 lens but it shouldn't disappoint you. Especially at that bargain price. Get a T2 adaptor and use it.

Ok thanks! This can be closed then I guess.

I put it on my camera and I gotta say the results are really good actually! Plenty sharp wide open!

Tokina made in 1967, and you got a great deal. Smile
