I dug these-up for a recent thread and thought I'd post them here also.
Unfortunately, I don't have the shooting specifications for these as they were taken while back, so I'll just wing it:
K28/2, aperture unknown, possible ext. tube
Samyang 35/1.4 @ 1.8 or 2.0
Voigtlander 40mm(PK conv) possibly 1.8
HELIOS-44-2
Thanks for looking.

Yes, it was most likely the K28.
I've never owned a Kiron, I think it might be sharper than the K28 wide open.
Unfortunately... I can't remember which lens I used in this shot at all, it was taken aprox. 4 years ago.
Perhaps someone can help identify what lens this was taken with?
Here's what I owned at that time:
Zenitar 16mm 2.8
K20 f/2.8
FA 24mm f/2
K28mm f/2 |

There is one listing relatively cheap ($600), i don't think they stay there for long. _________________ La migliore cura di LBA imparare una nuova lingua. Le meilleur remde de LBA est d'apprendre une nouvelle langue. La mejor cura del LBA es aprender una nueva lengua. |

The legendary Pentax K 28/2?

Hi nixland,
I picked-up the 28/2 from eBay about 5 years ago when I began collecting K lenses. It was in bad shape(lenses) and the seller wasn't sure if it could be fixed. And so I bought it anyway because, like yourself, I had never seen one before, and it was under 400. So I ended-up sending it in to a lens repairer in Alberta Canada who was able to restore and clean it very nicely. However, I've always found it to be too soft at wider apertures f/2 - 2.8 for my taste. And so I resorted to the Vivitar A01 which is close focusing and didn't require extension tubes. I also think the Kiron 28/2 is a better value because it is much cheaper, sharper wide open and has a nicer bokeh than the k28/2. Even though bokeh is entirely a personal preference.
Hope this helps. |
