This is just a representative sample of this quite common type. I have had several of these. These are effectively small view cameras with limited movements.

Lens is 13.5cm f/4.5 Tessar-type (these are often alleged to be rebadged Schneider Xenars) in rim-set Compur
This can take any of the various 9x12 backs - glass plate, cut film, film pack, 120 roll film, there are even adapters made by Kodak for 35mm, and by third parties for 3 1/4x 4 1/4 US-style film holders.

Did you actually use it for picture making?

I have used others of this model, just not this one. I have had five of these things.
I'm just posting its pictures to remember it, as I am selling it.
