I bought a Yashinon DX 50mm/1.7 lens (M42 mount) recently and found there was some looseness in the focusing ring and in the stationary "cosmetic" ring just below the focusing ring. The actual focusing mount is not loose at all and works perfectly.

Is there any easy way to reduce the play in the two rings?
