This year's floral work continues. I'm happy with the evolution.

I gotta say that these are STILL in the usual professional world-class range for me. I truly LOVE the images wherein the stems and other parts of the flowers go from barely focused, and then wind inward on the frame until the focused part shows in front. The 3rd and 5th images show this really well. The 2nd image doesn't do it for me, but only because I don't like the look of the bokeh, but of course that's just me. Very Happy That 3rd image - WOW! The colors are SO complementary! Also, the image of the leaf with holes is so well balanced and it keeps my eye lingering, which is of course the name of the game.

Klaus' sample image is also dynamite, and I know you would agree with that, Kram.

I personally feel that both your and Klaus's images in the macro field are top-of-line, and as good or better than ANY I've seen in photography books or online. It would be unbelievably neat if you two could somehow hook up to shoot macros together. I can only IMAGINE the results from collaborating with each other. Shocked

Thanks everyone! Much appreciated.

Keysersoze27, I shoot professionally so I don't really post anything that large (too easy for trolls to steal). One day I will do a book. Hopefully with great color reproductions and wide distribution.

I shot with the Rollei Planar HFT 50/1.4 yesterday that you clued me to. You are so right- I love it! Pix next week.

Well I was sure you didn't what to post in high-res but I had to try Embarassed

My intention was rendering details nothing else Very Happy

Well in the end my Contax Planar 1.4/50 is what i'm using the most of my 50s ... i'm still waiting for my Summicron 2/50 (very last edition) to arrive and I just won a 1957 Xenar 2.8/50 preset with a serial number very close to yours Wink lets see what they are worth Laughing

I'm very fond to Tessars so i'm curious to see Schneider's intepretetion of the Tessar characteristic image rendition ....
