Hi,recently I've bought for almost a fiver this nice little Hanimex 35mm f/3.5, in near mint condition.
The building quality is really good, but I've nevere seen this kind of lens around...
Anyone can tell me something about it? Smile
I've take some shots in low light wide open,on a tripod and it looks pretty good.

Leila

Hello, tried to quote your post to permit images and links.

EDIT: Hm, does not work, sorry. It probably requires admin privileges.
EDIT2: Suddenly, it works Smile Nice capture, and the lens seems to be in very good condition.

Very typical 1960's T-mount preset.
There are over a dozen makes of Japanese 35/3.5 lenses from that time.
Its easier to tell what it isn't than what it is unfortunately.
Hanimex branded products from most of the Japanese third party lens manufacturers.

Several makers used a very similar style.
My opinion its one of the following -

Tokyo Koki - aka Tokina
Nittoh - aka Komine
Kawakami - aka Kawanon

Its possible usually to distinguish a fine point of style between one or another of these, but its harder to do with a tiny lens like this.

Some very energetic fellows have been tracking the makers of various Soligor branded lenses through their serial numbers - like Hanimex, Soligor also branded lenses from most of the same makers, so its usually possible to find a Soligor version of something sold as a Hanimex. Maybe one of them will chime in.
