Seen a Meyer primoplan 58mm 1.9 with a plate on the mount..........What kind of mount is this? Any Idea? See the link below.

Looks like it was mounted for an enlarger, or so. Pretty sure it is a M42 lens.
The Primoplan name was erased because of trademark problems, so the lens was probably sold with a second name ring mounted above this misstreated name ring. Could have been sold under the Imoplan, Atraplan... name.

Ok, i see. Do any body think that it is possible to remove the lens from plate and use as an M42 mount lens.... Actually i am interested to buy a primoplan, but the prices r always high on ebay... Sad

Seems OK (some degradation on rear element). But ask seller if it can be unscrewed. If some crazy glue was used you'll have problems.

This is a nice find - an m42 Primoplan.
Most probably it will go unnoticed and low price.

BTW: this seller has also a re-branded Contax D (Hexacon Z1) which will be a great combo for this primoplan.

I think was used in a war zone or some urban US cities. That plate looks serious. The ring on the reverse likely just screws onto the M42 threads to hold in on.

I send a msg to the seller asking about the details, but no reply. Rolling Eyes
