Normally the seller gives a price here and we should stick to this rule.
So, please, provide an idea of how much you expect for each lens, ok? Thanks.

What is your price idea of the OM Zuiko 1.8/50mm ?

Wink

I have no idea of what price these lenses should be set at, to be honest. I'd just like to recoup what I spent on them. I'll have a think about it.

Hi Rolf, I have to confess, I have no idea of the market value of the Zuiko 50, I had two of them, one came with an OM10, the other with an OM20, I just gave both cameras and one of the Zuiko 50s to a disabled friend, he can't walk much these days so wants to find a hobby.

I would be open to an offer if you would like to PM me as I expect you have a better idea of the value than I, I would also be open to a trade, I am particularly in need of filters and tripod mount rings of various sizes.

If you remember how much you spent for that particular lense, simply put up the same amount or you can add/deduct a bit if the condition has changed for better or worse than how you got it. Then put OBO.

Not trying to be an ass or anything, even though I am (an ass in a good way, I mean no harm, promise). You should know or at least find out the ballpark prices like from ebay, amazon or something. That way no one says "$10 for x lense" then you agree to it. Then come to find out you just let a $200 lense for $10... hopefully no one is that cruel. But you don't know that for sure.

The reason why we ask the sellers to write down prices is easily explained:

It would be easy to list some lenses and see what people offer for them.
Then wait if someone perhaps offers much more than a lens is worth and the seller laughs up his sleeve.
Nobody here could see the price and perhaps warn the buyer about a possible rip-off.

We think that some kind of buyer protection is more important than a completely free market. Wink
If the seller intends to be fair, that should not be a problem for him. Fair prices will not be labeled "too high" here.

Please, don't take any offense in my words. I am not insinuating that you want to catch unfair prices!
It's just a general thing. OK?

Thankyou for the explanation, it makes perfect sense to me now.

I will look at ebay and set prices this evening, just about to go out and take advantage of the lack of rain to take some shots.

308 views and no interest, is it the prices are a tad high or the items just aren't interesting? The Ensinor/Clubman 28mms and the Vivitar 28 are all really good lenses, the Vivitar is a favourite with some users here.

Ian, don't bump it please.
If someone wants more info it will email you.
Put the price on items from now on.
Read the rules.
Do not answer me on this one.
