Today I went to the botanical gardens and got a few. Nikon D300, Arsat 80mm 2.8 Pentacon 6 mount lens, Nikon-P6 tilt adapter.
These were shot at f/8. No tilt.
Tilting allowed me to get the taller flowers in focus, but not all. All in all, I think it improved the image.
Tilting got the tops of the leaves(except the taller ones)in focus, but the bottom is not. It's easy to see with the hi res original. Should have shot at f/16 instead of f/5.6.
And tilting at f/5.6 drastically improved the shot of my receiver. This one was easy to get it all in focus since it's flat.
I haven't used the lens that much, but I'm learning that improving the DOF takes alot of practice. _________________ Bill |
