Just for giggles I bought a K100D last week, and yesterday purchased an Asahi Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 35mm f/2 lens to pair it with. I'm hoping it will be a nice lightweight combo for low light shots, using shake reduction where possible.
The setup
Some early test images...all shot wide open (f2), resized with 30% 0.5 pixel unsharp mask in Photoshop and a slight contrast bump of +10
Whilst the lens is a touch soft wide open, it sharpens up very easily indeed (and I've only added minimal sharpening here). There is some CA wide open which I will explore in more detail at a later date. The real test for this lens will be in low light
