SIGMA APO 4-5.6/70-300mm DG macro

Hi,

since I sold my Canon EF 100-400mm lens few years ago due to ongoing dust problens in the cam after using this lens I didn´t own a 100-400mm zoom. This zoom range is perfect for airplane spotting etc.

Yesterday I found at my dear dealer a like never used SIGMA APO 4-5.6/70-300mm DG macro with Pentax mount for small money. Due to the crop factor of the Pentax K-5 I will now have the view of a 105 to 450mm, perfect for that I would like to use this lens.

Here few shots this evening during my late afternoon walk with this lens and Pentax K-5. Not too bad for a lens in this price range.

The latest version of this lens (with Image stabilisation) has a better rating than the brothers and sisters from Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony (all around 400-450,00 € new, Sony around 800,00 €)

Lovely pics Rolf, I had the non Apo version of this lens for a very short while.
