Just run across that one, too expensive to "just" get it, but honestly I was tempted...

Should be 8 lenses in 6 groups I just found.

Made by norita at Japan. I saw at catalogue but not in the reality.

I think that it's the so-so lens that I should buy, knowing that it's not good.

Wanderfull piece of glass. I want it.

Rino.

Norita made a medium-format SLR and its lenses.

Also large and medium format lenses for other makes.

They have a good reputation apparently.

Yes, but it's F/1,4 Nor leica - the king of the kings for me - did it.

The unlike fast (more than F/2) 135 I heard to be the pentax K 1,8.

I like the noritar. But it's seem to be much $$$$$$$$.

About EUR700 or $950 was the asking price, bit steep if you ask me.

Its only a tiny bit faster than my Sigmatel 135mm f1.8, and probably costs umpreen times more to buy, so its probably not worth getting unless your an extremely keen and rich lens collector.

1.4/135??? Can you imagine the DoF wide open?

It seems to me that it's a lens for the photographer's taste more than for the photography's necessity.

And it's OK.

Someone wrote that if Norita M42 lens comes to Ebay it reaches very high price. Sadly I can't find that post. Search engine comes up with nothing though i remember it well. So here this beast again. Latest auction, EUR 1.687 EUR reached Click here to see on Ebay.de

To emphasize Norita's look i will add another link to 4/17mm:

I must admit for this lens and its characteristics the price does not seems so preposterous.

Certainly makes the one Kds315 found somewhat of a bargain, wonder if it's still far sale.

unless the lens works a 9-5 job turns its paycheck over to me, makes me dinner and walks my dog, it cannot have a characteristic worth $4000 usd! Laughing
