Just got an Jupiter-12 for my Zorki and I'm wondering does it make sense to get one of those Russian universal rotary viewfinders.
Are they good or just too small?
Maybe i will be better with a VF-1 for that price - it should be the same equivalent and will match also on my E-p2 and m.zuiko 17
What do you think?
The price for the russian thing is about 25 Eur. _________________ Stefan

And how do you find it?
Is it big enough like the zorki internal viewfinder?
On my Zorki4 the viewfinder is absolutely wonderful - big and clear.. unfortunately only for the 50mm. _________________ Stefan

I have been looking at these for a while, even peeped through one once... I used a Japanese 'tele-wide' finder with my fed/j-12 which worked well, bright and 'brightline' and accurate enough. It looked like the finders you get with the usual tele+wide auxiliary lens sets for fixed lens cameras.

I was nearly set on buying a Russian turret, but found a Canon Universal 35-135 at a low price so bought it instead. I'll post my impression when I receive it. _________________ -Jussi

It's ok I can't compare with other external finder, smaller than Zorki4 internal finder, bright enough to use it. _________________ -------------------------------
