Cool, or hot due to the fire? Laughing My grandmother's grandfather was one of the last old-time lapin noida's and I grew up with stories about him. Of course there still are some, they went underground during the last century's cultural pressures...

My blood was almost 500 years weeding out of "paganism" among the Sami. Long priests ministered. I'm the black sheep

Perhaps the last healers were still in the early 1900s. The writing of history can not truly know the story, but the traditions of the people they are.

and so on... the remarkable coincidence is that much of this was in the town/county that my great-great grandfather lived in... and I corresponded with the author about that, but funny enough, as I'm scanning through this I don't see the location!
