Hi,

this morning we have had an incredible sunrise at our river. We have such a light and this atmosphere only few times a year. Here few shots from my very early morning walk with D700 & Nikor 3.5/75-150mm Series E.

Beautiful images,
Rolf we have a river nearby as well and it has the same atmosphere as yours...with the mist...the "feeling" is captured perfectly especially the light breaking through along the path.

Very nice atmosphere pictures....i have to get up early myself too, sometimes, someday...well maybe. Smile

Did you left the iso setting on 1000 by error?

Many thanks.

No, as you can see I decided to shot with F8 and more (not on this images). So ISO 1000 was the right setting for shutter speeds from 1/320 and more.
With the D700 you can do this without any noise problems. Very Happy

Rolf you do wonders with a maligned lens - it is much better than it's reputation.

Many thanks Patrick and Graham.

As far as I know is the reputation of this lens not so bad. Prices increses every week at *bay. Seems that at the moment a lot of people are searching for this lens.

Problem is only the extrem smooth-running zoom.
