Yes, and it had a frozen focus ring that needed disassembly /repairing. He was nice enough to let me have it for peanuts-compared to what it sells for on ebay. I have not had the best situation for good photos since I fixed this lens. I hope it gets a bit brighter.

I would love to see which one I like better -this or the Elmar 90mm?

I should probably have posted this in the Repairs sub-forum-I did that for the 135mm f3.8 Sun Telephoto-which had the same problem.I spent days soaking it in Naptha, and other solvents to no avail. The helical grease on this type of Sun lens seems to gum, and dry up to a very hard consistency and heat seems to be the answer-(got to get it very hot-I needed leather gloves to hold lens .You will notice the color on the focus ring in the images below developed a patina from the application of heat-which was scrubbed off later in soap and water).
Heres the lens in stages of dissemble and lube-I feel to too lazy to write about it-but here are some images. I must have used half a box of Q-tips.

Outer helicoid threads.

All parts ,cleaned ,scrubbed ,oiled ,and lubed (I use Skaters Grease)-where possible and ready for reassembly.

Regards

Looks similar too elmar 90/4. but I like elmar's bokeh more.
Can you show 100% crop? to see detail, Thanks

Here we go-the lens should perform better with little more light, as I mentioned before-may not have been a great day to test this lens.

Good one- the image looks saturated and sharp-and the bokeh looks like something Meyer lens produce-I must say very nice.

Nice results. The boke might be reigned in a bit at smaller apertures. But it looks sharp!
