Wow, an amazing assortment of birds you caught. I imagine this takes a lot of time, the bird hunting... boulevard birds are easier Laughing

Nesster, bird pics over the last couple of weeks, 3 different places, the goshawk and the falcon were from the same area but different weeks. The kingfisher and the tree creeper were the same day, same place. The day I snapped the king fisher and tree creeper pics I messed up on a very pretty finch with a red beak and backside.
Thanks for the compliments on the bokeh Willem.

Jaza, are there any National Parks, those that come under International Heritage listings near you? They are always worth a visit. Gardens and parks that favour local plant life are always worth a look at as well for local birds. I would have thought Indonesia would have many lovely birds to take pics of even in bigger city gardens. I live so close to the ccentral part of the city but the birds I've seen out on the street trees some days are quite surprising, like that peregrine falcon, one family of them has their nest on one of Melbourne's tallest buildings because construction unions wouldn't finish the building unless the owners guaranteed their protection.
