Tamron 35-70mm f/3.5 CF Macro (17A) w. D700

I bought a Russian (Arsenal)- made MC Granit-11 Zoom in Nikon mount, and the seller offered me also 35-70mm F/3.5 Tamron CF macro zoom (17A) for 5 euros. An offer I could not resist. (The lens came with C/Y Adaptall 2- mount, so I had to buy a Nikon AI adapter for 15 euros, but I consider the price still reasonable). Tamron seems to be well made, it works smoothly, the glass is clean and the zoom is constant aperture.

The lens is a 7/7 design (Diagram courtesy www.adaptall-2.com).
