How about this lens, my opinion is pretty mixed , one copy can be excellent , others are so so. All are sharp, resolution is high, but some of them has less contrast than others.

My latest samples are here taken with Samsung NX 100

Well, i have the zebra version of this lens (probably not MC) and found really sharp, with a great definition and true Zeiss colors (at least on my K10D. I'm waiting for an adapter for my 5DII for further testings) ...
Moreover, it is really easy to focus because of the excellent contrast ...

Zebra is single coated, nice to hear you say it has excellent contrast.
