Just got this tiny little lens and used it for a short evening walk, all shot at f3.5 wide open.

It's too good Wink

...or maybe you are!

Nice find, your "lens radar" is working well Cool

Thanks Grahaem!

It is crisp up to the corners, no or hardly any vignetting from what I could see,
very small and fits mft bodies perfectly. Taunusreiter and kuuan are "guilty"
actually drawing attention to those "lens gems"!

Holy Moly !
Great series , Klaus !
It's a pleasure to look at these images ,I like the IQ ,but also the story they tell .Almost transported for a few moments on an evening walk in a beautiful city in these days before Christmas ! By the way , I allways wanted to visit Germany at this time , but my bear habbits stopped me to do it until now Laughing
I am curious , it's ISO 800 ?

Thanks guys!

Multumesc Teo, it was shot at ISO640 (I usually only use multiples of natural ISO
of the sensor to control noise). Sure, do come here once and I let you know, maybe
we can tour around a bit, lots of old nice cities here!

something different from you Klaus... nice photos, the lens seems sharp wide open

I'm quite impressed by these pictures, Klaus! I've bought this little gem for my E-PL2 3 months ago but haven't shot a single picture with it. It's a shame, but I just had zero time to take it for a walk.

Well, I'm crazy busy these days, but that doesn't stop me from cleaning a lens and give it a spin.
Thanks Roman and Holder. Give your lens a chance to surprise you!!

great samples Klaus!
Taunusreiter brought me to the Pen-F lenses.
I am rather happy with the f1.8/38. my 1.4/40 has mechanical problems and I must have it serviced first, and the f3.5/100 and f3.5/20 really convince me, great performers. I wanted to something more light than the very heavy Mir 47K, I am specially happy with the 3.5/20!

Thanks Andreas, I saw Taunusreiter's and then your samples from the café in Vienna and got pretty hooked!
I have a 40mm coming and am negotiating a 70mm, so sounds like I got the "virus" Wink

whaa. congrats!
taunusreiter says the 40 is better than the 38, and the 70..I envy you for it, a dream
did you see for how much a 1.5/60 was offered recently???

Klaus, if you want to try my copies of F.Zuiko Auto-S 1:1,8 f=38mm or E.Zuiko Auto-T 1:3,5 f=100mm drop me a message, you live only half an hour away from me...

Yes, I saw the graphs and read some reviews, but I only trust my own results,
so I guess I'll get them, see how they perform and then make a decision. Maybe
not the 60mm, since that is waaay above my budget ...

wow, a very kind offer! Maybe we should meet and bring our gems and both make some tests?
(Bensheim? Darmstadt? meet in Heppenheim Altstadt?)

Oh, actually I hardly have.
according to reviews and graphs, which are considered to be the best?
how does the f4/25 fare?

Would be nice to meet you. I'm on vacation next week, so, any time later...
(Bürstadt! But Heppenheim Altstadt is a way better location!)

Sure, let me know whenever fits you, for me that would be January at the earliest.
Heppenheim would be great, nice scenery anyway.

Just noticed, that I missed to show an "emotional one" I took...
