Camera: Sony Alpha 700.

Lens mounted on camera via hollowed Vivitar Macro Focusing converter, and an extension tube with a M39 to M42 adapter.

Taken close to sunset in the shadows @f5.6

the suns last rays were faint on these last ones.

Regards

I'm with tikkathree on these. Like the subtle and cool tones in 1,2,4, and 5

Well with that title I was expecting pictures OF that lens, not taken pictures WITH it Wink

Nice ones, although I personally prefer with those types of flower shots, to have the focus point a tad more in front, so the front petals do not look that unsharp.

Thanks, you make a great point Klaus, I will remember that. There was a little wind that kept battling me,no matter how patient I was.

All outstanding lenses. If you are ready to experiment, consider the Schneider Componon - S series and the Rodenstock Rodagons. Patience on ebay can net some pretty fine lenses

I have experimented with the lenses you mention, and yes you're right. Even the cheaper Rogonars are fine lenses. Very Happy

The 80mm El Nikkor is very well suited for UV photography - check out Klaus' message above and look at his super pages on UV and IR - at the bottom of his message.
