This is in the early F mount and is just simply stunning, incredibly sharp and contrasty with loads of 3d and character, can't imagine a better 35mm lens. Best part is it cost me 25ukp in mint, unused as new condition. How much is a Summicron? pmsl

I like the shots (#1) of the Fed, and (#3) of the Mamiya very much. Are you shooting film with those, too? _________________ Cameras; Sony Nex5n Lenses; Konica Hexanons; 21mm f2.8, 40mm f1,8, 50mm f1.4, 50mmf1.7,57mm f1.4, 100mm f2.8, 135mm f3.2, 200mm f4, MC Helios 77M-4 50mm f1.8, Jupiter 8 50 f2, Super Takumar 85mm f1.9, Vivitar Series 1 90mm f2.5 (Macro), Steinheil Munchen Culminar 85mm f2.8, Steinheil Munchen Exagon 35mm f2.8, Jupiter 37A 135mm, Astra Berlin 135mm f3.5, Angenieux 180mm f4 , Tair 3-PhS 300mm f4.5 |

Register distance is same than latest AR lenses, mount diameter is small like Exakta. I have genuine F->AR adapter , sadly very rare , even simple electrical tape can fix F lens to AR adapter. They are premium quality lenses and 35mm , 50mm not uncommon in USA. _________________ -------------------------------

Cheers guys, as Attila says, I used electrical tape to attach it to an AR-NEX adapter, one day i will find a TC or bellows I can take the F mount from to make a proper adapter.
I do indeed shoot film in the Fed and the Mamiya, although the Mamiya is only in my care for a short while, it belongs to a good friend. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

For 25ukp this has to be the biggest bargain I've bought.

Ian, if possible, would you mind posting a photo of the lens? And I agree. It is amazing the bargains that can be gotten on these Konica's. Hopefully the price will stay reasonably low until we collect them all. _________________ Cameras; Sony Nex5n Lenses; Konica Hexanons; 21mm f2.8, 40mm f1,8, 50mm f1.4, 50mmf1.7,57mm f1.4, 100mm f2.8, 135mm f3.2, 200mm f4, MC Helios 77M-4 50mm f1.8, Jupiter 8 50 f2, Super Takumar 85mm f1.9, Vivitar Series 1 90mm f2.5 (Macro), Steinheil Munchen Culminar 85mm f2.8, Steinheil Munchen Exagon 35mm f2.8, Jupiter 37A 135mm, Astra Berlin 135mm f3.5, Angenieux 180mm f4 , Tair 3-PhS 300mm f4.5 |

Thanks for posting a photo, Ian. On photo #13, the highlights of the yellow bushings have an odd artifact. Is this due to the camera sensor; an HDR program or something like that? On my monitor, the colors seem hyper, almost psychedelic; which is fine if that is what you want. I just want to understand the variables involved. Thanks, again, for sharing this with us. _________________ Cameras; Sony Nex5n Lenses; Konica Hexanons; 21mm f2.8, 40mm f1,8, 50mm f1.4, 50mmf1.7,57mm f1.4, 100mm f2.8, 135mm f3.2, 200mm f4, MC Helios 77M-4 50mm f1.8, Jupiter 8 50 f2, Super Takumar 85mm f1.9, Vivitar Series 1 90mm f2.5 (Macro), Steinheil Munchen Culminar 85mm f2.8, Steinheil Munchen Exagon 35mm f2.8, Jupiter 37A 135mm, Astra Berlin 135mm f3.5, Angenieux 180mm f4 , Tair 3-PhS 300mm f4.5 |

Yes, I noticed that too, it was present out of camera, and on some of the gas bottles shots, the NEX was in vivid mode as usual, not sure what went on. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

Ah, ok, the vivid mode. Thanks. It could be that "yellow channel" got over tweaked by the combination of the conditions. I've experienced similar looks with photoshop. But, excellent shots none-the less. Yes, I also had the reds overload on a couple of shot of red gas bottles. Not sure what combo of circumstances made it happen, first time it has.
