Today's macro session with my trusty Nikkor 55/2.8 Micro and yellowed, fungussy Pancolar. If an image isn't labeled with "Pancolar" it's from the Nikkor.
Nikkor w/tube.
Pancolar with tube.
Pancolar with tube.
Portrait of the Artist as seen reflected in a fly.
Pancolar w/tube.
Nikkor 55mm w/tube.
Lots of bees today. Very difficult to photograph. They rarely ever stop. Caught this one. The below shows just how sharp this image is. 55mm Nikkor with tube.
Pancolar with tube.
The Pancolar is a regualr on my macro sessions as it has a certain something that I love.
Shot with a Canon 60D, ISO 100, all hand-held. |

Did you do any post processing to make the colors so vivid? _________________

Thanks everyone!
poilu, yes it's sorted now for sure, although I don't know how!
Hari, the first and last image, yes. I've found that with the 60D not a lot of post-processing is needed.
Still waiting for my new Zeiss S-Planar 60/2.8 Makro! |
